Details: Unit 2 was setting at the intersection waiting to turn left to east bound on W Orange, when Unit 1 travelling west on W Orange made a right turn on to 6th Av. Swung to wide and struck Unit 1. No injuries report, both units insured, Unit 1 is at fault vehicle.

 

Breach of the Peace Constituting Disorderly Conduct (city) H23-3371

Complainant: 60 year old Hoopeston male

Cited: Sarah Fletcher (F) (41) Hoopeston female

Details: HPD officers were called to the area for the report of fireworks. Ms. Fletcher was told

to stop for the night but continued after officers left her residence. She was cited on the

above charge and was given a city court date.

 

Expired Driver's License More than a Year H23-3374

Location: W Orange St/S Dixie Hwy

Cited: Rene Cervantes (M) (24) of Lyons, IL

Details: HPD officers stopped the vehicle Mr. Cervantes was driving for a traffic violation. A

computer check revealed his driver’s license to be expired for more than a year. Subject

was ticketed and given a Vermilion County traffic court date.

Arrestee: Pratt, Heather N (42) (F) of Hoopeston

Details: On June 30th, at the VFW a dispute erupted between 2 women resulting in a battery. The victim went for medical treatment, and investigation into the fight resulted in the arrest of the suspect. Arrestee was transported to HPD, processed, and later transferred to PSB to await arraignment

Retail Theft H23-3391 2023-5584

Location: 400 blk S 2nd Ave

Arrested: Courtney J St Clair (33) (F) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD located the above subject wanted on a Champaign County warrant and local charge for retail theft. She was taken into custody and transported for processing at HPD where she obtained additional charges for attempted escape and aggravated battery to LEO. She was later transported to the PSB Danville, IL in lieu of bond.

Arrested: Nicholas Coleman (33) (M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the old Honeywell School parking lot for the report of

fireworks. A computer check of one of the subjects revealed an outstanding Vermilion

County warrant. Mr. Coleman was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He

was released after posting bond and was given a new Vermilion County Court dat
