Details: HPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with the above subject identified as the driver. The vehicle was found to have expired registration plates or sticker. Mr. King was released from the scene with a citation.

Details: HPD officers while on patrol conducted a traffic stop and a computer search showed Mr.

Pratt to have a suspended license. Mr. Pratt was arrested and transported to HPD for

processing and later released with a Vermilion County Court date.

Unit 1: 2012 Jeep Patriot driven by Brandon Irvin(28)(M)of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2018 Buick Encore parked by Veronica Kaufmann(49)(F)of Cissna Park

Details: Unit 1 while turning southbound on 4th St. had a can fall by his feet. Unit 1 was attempting to

move the item when he struck unit 2 at the rear of the vehicle which was parked and

unoccupied. No injuries were reported and no citations both units insured.

Arrested: John Stephens(36)(M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were called the above location for a report of trespass. Mr. Stephens was

located and transported to HPD for processing and given a Vermilion County Court date to

appear.

 

 

Domestic Battery, Agg Flee/Attempting to Elude Police, DWLS, Reckless Driving, No Front/Rear Registration Plate H23-6863 2023-10624

Complainant: 34 year old Female of Hoopeston

Arrested: John Stephens(36)(M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was dispatched to the above location for the report of a burglary. Upon investigation

and location of Mr. Stephens, he led HPD officers on a pursuit through town. He

was eventually stopped, arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

Details: HPD offices were dispatched to the report of criminal damage. An investigation continues.

 

Trespassing, Agg Fleeing/Attempting to Elude Police, DWLR, Reckless Driving, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Disobeying a Traffic Control Device, Speeding 97/55, Driving Under the Influence (A2) H23-6857

Cited: Philemon Myrick (M) (31) of Champaign

Details: HPD officer received a personal call in reference to a possible burglary in progress. When

the officer attempted to make contact with the subject, Mr. Myrick fled the scene and took

the officer on a pursuit. The pursuit ended when subject crashed into a tree at the end

of Trego Dr. HFD was dispatched for possible extrication, and the subject was taken to the hospital via ambulance. He was issued several traffic citations and given a court date for Vermilion County.

 

Criminal Trespass to State Supported Land H23-6886

Location: 500 S 6th Av, Parkview Court

Complainant: 35 year old Hoopeston female

Arrested: Cardarryl Watson (33) (M) of Danville

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location and found Mr. Watson on scene

after previously being trespassed from the property and asked not to return. He was

arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later released with a notice to

appear in Vermilion County court.
