Location: 415 S Dixie Hwy, Dollar General

Arrested: Jalisa McGhee (F) (34) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to Dollar General in reference to retail theft. After an

investigation, officers located Ms. Mcghee and arrested her on the above charges. She

was taken to HPD, where she was processed and later released with a notice to appear

in Vermilion County court.

Location: 500 s 6th Ave

Details: HFD and HPD were dispatched to the above location. Upon arrival nothing was showing to

be on fire.

 

Failure to Report Accident to Police Authority, No Valid DL, DUI - Alcohol, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Threatening Public Official X 2, Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer H24-0871

Location: S 5th St/E Main St

Arrested: Marcos L Ramirez(33)(M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was dispatched to the above area for a report of a car driving erratically.

HPD officers located the vehicle and a computer search showed Mr. Ramirez to

have no valid driver’s license. Mr. Ramirez was taken to HPD for processing and

later transported to PSB to await arraignment.

 

Found Property

A brown wallet was found in the 400 blk of S 2nd Av in the alley. The owner may identify and claim at

HPD.

 

 

Traffic Accident, Disobeying traffic Control Device H24-0884

Location: S 5th ST/E Penn St

Unit 1: 1991 Chevrolet Postal Suv driven by Bridget A Misenhelter(27)(F)of Rantoul

Unit 2: 2013 Honda CRV driven by Wendy R Palomo(40)(F)of Hoopeston

Details: Driver of Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on E Penn St when she stopped at the stop

Sign. Unit 1 stated they did not see Unit 2 traveling south on S 5th St. Driver of Unit 1

was given a Vermilion County Court date for disobeying a traffic control device.
