Fire Call (Delayed Entry)

Date and Time: June 23,2024 11:53 p.m.

Location: 200 Block of W Maple

Details: HPD came upon a brush fire in the road. HFD was dispatched and extinguished the fire. No injuries reported.

 

 

Criminal Damage H24-2893 2024-4989

Time: 12:03 a.m.

Location: Hoopeston Police Department – 301 W Main St

Arrested: Jordan Carswell (M) (38) of Hoopeston

Details: Mr. Carswell came to HPD requesting to speak to officers. Upon discussion Mr. Carswell

admitted to the above charge. He was taken into custody and processed at HPD. He was

later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Arson H24-3355 2024-4977

Time: 12:00 pm

Location: Market St

Arrested: James Brayboy (26) (M) of Hoopeston

Details: While investigating the suspicious fire in the 500 blk of E Young, HPD officers located Mr.

Brayboy. He was taken into custody, processed at HPD and later transported to the PSB

in Danville to await arraignment.
