Traffic Accident H24-5105 Time: 3:23PM Location: 500 Blk of E. Chestnut St. Unit 1: 2003 Ford driven by Fredric Acker ()(M) of Hoopeston Unit 2: 2013 Buick driven by Katerine Lopez ()(F) of Hoopeston Details: Unit 1 was reversing out of a driveway in the 700 blk of S. 4th St going southbound. It should be noted that the driveway is located in the 500 blk of E. Chestnut St. While reversing, Unit 1 did not notice Unit 2 driving eastbound on E. Chestnut St. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 on the roadway. Unit 1 accepted fault for the accident. No medical treatment was needed, and no citations were issued.
