A Senior at Cissna Park died after an accident Saturday afternoon.

Illinois State Police says, Colson Carley was driving north on Illinois Route 1 south of Iroquois County Road 1330 North just after 4:30 p.m.

Troopers say, Carley crossed into the ditch on the east side of the road and hit a culvert and flew off the bike. 

Carley was taken to a nearby hospital and died. 

Cissna Park High School will hold a vigil/remembrance Sunday night at 6 p.m. in front of the high school. 

High school officials announced a crisis team will be available Monday with counselor workers, social workers and pastors for any students and staff who want to speak to anyone.
