Aggravated Domestic Battery H24-5437 2024-8066

Arrested: David Gonzalez (M) (50) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was called to the above address for a complaint of Domestic Battery. After investigation, officers arrested Mr. Gonzalez on the above charges. He was brought to

HPD for processing, then later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Wanted on Warrant- Vigo County, IN H24-5452 2024-8086

Time: 2:53 p.m.

Location: 400 Blk of S. 2nd Ave.

Arrested: Jalin Hulett (M) (21) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers located Mr. Hulett. A computer search revealed that he had an outstanding Vigo County warrant. He was arrested, brought to HPD for processing and then later transported to the PSB in Danville in lieu of bond.

 

Operating Vehicle with Expired Registration H24-5462

Time: 7:36 p.m.

Location: E. Orange St./N. Market St.

Arrested: Pamela Pruitt (F) (56) of Potomac

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer search showed Ms. Pruitt’s vehicle

to have expired registration. Ms. Pruitt was issued a citation and given a Notice to Appear

at the Vermilion County Courthouse then was released from the scene.

Cited: Olivia A Strawser (F) (30) of Hoopeston

Details: HFD responded to the scene of an illegal burn at the request of HPD. The above subject was cited for Burning of Trash or Refuse.

 

Warrant Arrest (Vermilion Co) H24-5490 224-8121

Time: 4:37pm

Location: N 3rd St/E Young

Arrested: Michael Cox (M) (48) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers checked out with Mr. Cox while on patrol. A computer check revealed that he

had an outstanding Vermilion County warrant. He was arrested and taken to HPD to be

processed. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville in lieu of bond.

Cited: Alexander Napier (F) (29) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD stopped the vehicle Ms. Napier was driving for a traffic violation. Subject was unable

to provide current insurance information and received a traffic citation and traffic court date.

 

DWLS, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Expired Registration H24-5511

Location: W Orange/S Dixie Hwy

Arrested: Brian Kinnaird (M) (43) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers stopped the vehicle Mr. Kinnaird was driving for a traffic violation. A computer

check revealed that subject was driving on a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested

and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later released with traffic citations and traffic

court date.

 

Traffic Accident H24-5513

Time: 12:30pm

Location: S Market/E Main

Unit 1: 2021 Ford F150 driven by Larry Stephen (M) (76) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2013 Dodge Carvan driven by Kevin Barber (M) (64) of Champaign

Details: Driven of Unit #1 was travelling eastbound on Main St and struck Unit #2 who was traveling

southbound on Market. Arrow ambulance responded and transported passenger of

Unit #2. Driver of Unit #1 was cited for Failure to Yield – Stop of Yield Intersection and

was given a traffic court date.

 

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol H24-5529

Time: 10:14 p.m.

Location: 1300 E. Rd./ 4200 N. Rd.

Arrested: Brandon Arms

Details: HPD was dispatched to a vehicle sitting in the roadway unable to run. Upon arrival and

investigation alcohol was located in the vehicle. Mr. Arms was arrested then brought to HPD for processing and was cited then released with a Notice to Appear for Vermilion County Court.
