Hoopeston Police Report 10/2/2024

Fire Call, City Citation H24-5570

Date/Time: 9/30/24 6:54am

Location: 300 Front St

Cited: Jeffrey Davis (M) (55) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD found where Mr. Davis was burning illegal materials. HFD was dispatched to put out the fire. Mr. Davis was issued an NTA for city court.

 

 

 

Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, Resisting/Obstructing, Operating When Registration

Is Suspended, Operating Vehicle with Expired Registration, Operating Uninsured

Vehicle H24-5561 2024-8188

Time/Date: 9-30-24 11:13pm

Location: N Dixie Hwy/Baer St

Arrested: Frances Horn (F) (51) of Gilman

Details: HPD officers stopped the vehicle Ms. Horn was driving for a traffic violation. A

computer check revealed the registration was suspended and expired. Subject was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. There, she fought with police and was taken to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

Time: 7:46am

Location: 500 blk W Washington St

Cited: Alfredo Sidar (M) (36) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD found where Mr. Sidar was burning however it was unattended. HFD

was dispatched to put out the fire. Mr. Sidar was mailed an NTA for city court.

 

WOW Benton County, IN H24-5576 2024-8202

Time: 11:02am

Location: 300 blk Front St

Arrested: Jeffrey Davis (M) (55) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers checked out with Mr. Davis to give him his city citation. A computer check revealed he had an outstanding warrant from Benton Co, IN. He was

arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville in lieu of bond.

 

Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration for No Insurance, Operating Uninsured Vehicle H24-5585

Time: 8:58pm

Location: S Dixie Hwy/W Main St

Arrested: Brianna Reed (F) (27) of Chicago

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. A computer search revealed that the vehicle being operated by Ms. Reed had suspended registration. Ms. Reed was ticketed for the above charges and released from the scene with a Notice to Appear in Vermilion County Court.
