Details: HFD and HPD officers were dispatched to the above address for a vehicle fire. HFD cleared the scene. No injuries were reported.

 

Traffic Accident H24-5654 Time/Date: 10/4/24 1:49pm Location: W Main St/S 3rd Av Unit #1: 2022 Dodge 4D driven by Tammie Ritter (F) (58) of Rossville Unit #2: 2015 Honda 4D driven by Adam Dixon (M) (22) of Hoopeston Details: Unit #2 was stopped in the roadway behind another vehicle who was waiting for oncoming traffic so they could turn southbound on S 3rd Av. Unit #1 was travelling westbound on Main St., and rear-ended Unit #2. No injuries were reported, no tickets were issued and both units were insured.

 

Operating with Expired Registration/Plates H24-5674 Time: 1:18 am Location: State Rt. 1 and E. 4000 N. Rd. Arrested: Ashley Pascual (F) (24) of Danville Details: While conducting a traffic stop at the above location, Ms. Pascual was found to be driving without valid registration. She was cited on scene and released with a Notice to Appear in Vermilion County Court.

 

Fire Call Time: 13:32 Location: 600 blk W Lincoln Details: HFD was dispatched to the report of an unknown fire in the area. HFD located a legal yard waste fire and cleared the scene. Traffic Accident H24-5683 Operating Uninsured Vehicle, No Valid License, No Valid Registration, and Defective/No Brakes Time: 10:29am Location: W Orange/S Second Ave. Unit #1: 2006 Ford 4D driven by Robert Griffin (M) (54) of Hoopeston Unit #2: 2007 Honda 4D Audra Funk (F) (21) of Hoopeston Details: Driver of Unit 1 was driving northbound on S. Second Ave. and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of S. Second Ave. and E. Orange. Upon entering the intersection, Unit 1 struck Unit 2 which was traveling eastbound on E. Orange St. Unit 2 left the roadway and came to a rest. The driver of Unit 1 was cited for the above charges and was given notices to appear in Vermilion County court.
