Unit #1: 2017 Dodge Ram driven by Richard Smith (M) (77) of Hoopeston

Unit #2: 1982 Chevy Camero parked and unoccupied owned by Nikki Smith of Hoopeston

Details: Unit #1 struck Unit #2 while backing from a driveway in the 500 block of E Young. No

injuries, no tickets and both units were insured.

Time: 11:11 am

Location: 800 blk W Penn St

Details: HFD and HPD were dispatched to the above location for the report of an unattended

illegal burn. Some items were removed from the fire which were illegal to burn and

the fire department and officers cleared the scene.

 

 

Criminal Damage to Property H24-6525

Time: 4:03 pm

Location: 500 blk of Front St

Arrested: Edwina Torres-Rutledge (42) (F) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location for a report of an ongoing fight. Ms.

Torres-Rutledge was located and arrested. She was transported to HPD and released with

a Vermilion County Notice to appear.

Location: 325 E Orange St (Autumn Fields Assisted Living)

Details: HFD was dispatched to the above location for an active alarm. The alarm was reset and

HFD was cleared.
