Operating Motor Vehicle when Registration is Suspended H24-6682

Location: State Rt. 1/W. Main St.

Arrested: William Luther (25) (M) of Milford

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer search showed Mr. Luther’s plates to

be suspended. Mr. Luther was given a Vermilion County Notice to appear and released from the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

 

Traffic Accident H24-6691

Time: 5:48 p.m.

Location: N. 6th Ave./W. Penn St.

Unit 1: 2021 Chevrolet Coupe driven by Austin Rhodes (M) (70) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2021 Toyota Sedan driven by Michelle Herd (F) (33) of Wellington

Details: While turning westbound from 6th Ave., Unit 1 struck Unit 2. No injuries occurred, and no tickets were issued. Both units were insured.

 

 

Domestic Battery H24-6696 2024-9418

Time: 8:10 p.m.

Location: 200 Blk. of W. Maple St.

Arrested: Christina Sweeney (F) (27) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD responded to a call at the above address. Ms. Sweeney was located and arrested on the above charge. She was brought to HPD to be processed and then later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
