Penn St. Arrested: James Miller (M) (31) of Hoopeston Details: HPD officers noticed the failure to obey a traffic signal device twice. While conducting the traffic stop, officers found Mr. Miller to also be driving without insurance. Mr. Miller was cited at the scene and released with Notices to Appear in Vermilion County Court.

 

Failure to Report Crash to Police Authority H24-6814 Time: 6:33 a.m. Location: 912 S. Dixie Hwy. (Casey’s) Unit 1: 2003 Chevrolet driven by David Ingram (M) (49) of Hoopeston Unit 2: Beau Edwards (M) (44) of Hoopeston Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above address after Unit 2 had reported an accident. After an investigation, officers located Unit 1 and Mr. Ingram was given a citation for the above charge with a Notice to Appear in Vermilion County Court.

 

Operating a Motor Vehicle with Expired Registration, Operating Uninsured Vehicle H24-6817 Time: 4:24 p.m. Location: S. 2nd Ave./W. Penn St. Cited: Anthony Morgan (M) (32) of Georgetown Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. Officers found Mr. Morgan to be operating a vehicle with no insurance. Mr. Morgan was given citations for the above charges and released from the scene with Notices to Appear in Vermilion County Court.

 

Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia H24-6820 2024-9593 Time: 7:26 p.m. Location: 400 Blk. of S. Second Ave. Arrested: Joseph Asbury (M) (34) of Hoopeston Details: While investigating a previous call, Mr. Asbury was searched, and the above was located on his person. He was taken into custody and processed at HPD then was later transferred to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

 

Driving With Expired Registration, Plates, or Sticker H24-6822 Time: 11:35 p.m. Location: S. 1st Ave./W. Penn St. Arrested: Stephanie Marroquin (F) (44) of Hoopeston Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop at the above location. A computer check revealed Ms. Marroquin to be driving with expired registration. Ms. Marroquin was issued a citation and released from the scene with a Notice to Appear in Vermilion County Court.
