Arrested: Joseph Hart (M) (39) from Hoopeston

Details: HPD was dispatched to a theft report on 12/3/24 in the 400 blk of S 2nd Ave. After an investigation, Mr. Hart turned himself into HPD. He was arrested and later transported to the PSB to await arraignment.

Unit #2: 2017 Ford driven by Michael Warner (M) (73) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was dispatched to the report of a traffic crash. Both units stopped at the intersection.

Unit #1 advised she did not see Unit #2 because she was blinded by the sun and struck

Unit #2. No citations, 1 minor injury and both units were insured.

A computer check revealed the vehicle’s registration was expired. He was given a traffic citation and traffic court date.
