Traffic Accident/Driving Uninsured Vehicle H25-0456

Location: Intersection of IL. St. Rte.1 and IL. St. Rte. 9

Unit #1 : 2013 Ford driven by Christopher Park (M) (47) of Hoopeston

Unit #2: 2012 Toyota driven by Zachary Ramsey (M) (31) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit #1 and Unit #2 were both traveling northbound on St. Rte. 1. Upon stopping at the intersection, Unit #1 struck Unit #2’s rear end. Unit #1 admitted fault. Upon investigation, Unit #2 was found to be Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Mr. Ramsey was cited on scene and released with an NTA for Vermilion County Court. No injuries were reported.
