Details: HFD and HPD responded to the above location for a report of a residential structure fire. HFD cleared the scene without further incident.

 

Warrant Arrest (Iroquois County) H25-1305

Time: 12:37am

Location: 912 S Dixie Hwy, Casey’s

Arrested: Elbert Cannon (M) (58) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers arrested Mr. Cannon after a computer check revealed he had an outstanding

Iroquois County warrant. He was processed and released to an Iroquois County deputy.

 

Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Violation of Order Protection H25-1310 2025-1395

Time: 5:03am

Location: 800 blk S 4th St

Complainant: 29 year old Hoopeston female

Arrested: Andrew Prattis (M) (34) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the report of a vehicle accident. While investigating

the accident, officers found one of the vehicles involved was stolen. Mr. Prattis was arrested on the above charges and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later

transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Wanted on a Warrant (Vermilion County) H25-1317 2025-1410

Time: 4:48pm

Location: 111 W Orange St., Dollar General

Arrested: Tajuana Burns (F) (29) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers located Ms. Burns at the above address. A computer check revealed she had a warrant through Vermilion Co. She was arrested and transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

 

 

Driving Under Influence 11-501 (a)(2) Driving Under Influence 11-501 (a)(1) , Illegal Transportation

of Alcohol, Operating Uninsured Vehicle (Delayed Entry) H25-1297

Time/Date: 4:46pm 03/03/2025

Location: S. 6th St. & E. Main St.

Arrested: Brandon Arms (M) (38) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers were dispatched to the above location for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Arms. He was placed under arrest for the above charges and taken to HPD for processing. He was later released with citations and a Notice to Appear in Vermilion Co. Court.
