Criminal Damage to Property (under) H25-1641

Date/Time of Incident: 02/19/2025 @ 4:01 p.m.

Location of Incident: 600 Blk. of E. Young Ave.

Date/Time of Arrest: 03/27/2025 @ 2:32 a.m.

Location of Arrest: 700 Blk. of S. 6th Ave.

Arrested: Gage Fouse (M) (30) of Hoopeston

Details: While on patrol, HPD officers made contact with Mr. Fouse recognizing he was wanted on the above charge for a prior incident. HPD officers transported Mr. Fouse to HPD for processing then he was released with an NTA for Vermilion County Court.

 

Traffic Accident H25-1798

Time: 7:09 a.m.

Location: 800 Block of E. Seminary

Unit #1: A 2020 Toyota driven by Peter Kunce (M) (47) of Hoopeston

Unit #2: An unoccupied 2000 Dodge owned by Phillip Newell (M) (60) of Danville

Details: Unit #1 traveling eastbound on E. Seminary in the above area when he struck a parked Unit #2. No injuries or tickets were reported.

 

Traffic Accident H25-1825

Time: 8:32 a.m.

Location: 100 Block of W. Main Street

Unit #1: A 2017 Freightliner driven by Gerald Kennedy (M) (27) of Danville

Unit #2: A 2008 Nissan driven by Amy Hoover (F) (43) of Hoopeston

Details: Both units were parked in an alley to the east of the above location. Unit #1 started to back out and struck Unit #2, which was parked directly behind it. No injuries or citations were reported and both units were insured.
