Time of Incident: 11:12 p.m.

Location of Incident: 800 Blk. of E. Maple St.

Time of Arrest: 6:41 p.m.

Location of Arrest: 200 Blk. of W. Maple St.

Arrested: Kenneth Dale II (M) (44) of Hoopeston

Details: While HPD was investigating another call, officers identified Mr. Dale at the residence. HPD knew he was wanted for the above charge from a prior incident and took him into custody. Mr. Dale was processed at HPD then was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Traffic Accident H25-1854

Time: 10:24 a.m.

Location: 100 Block of South Third St.

Unit #1: A semi-truck driven by Ryan Thorpe (M) (46) of Georgia

Unit #2: Pole owned by Frontier

Details: Unit 1, turning southbound onto S. Third from the alleyway, struck the overhead cable, stretching the cable, causing it and the pole to come down. The area was secured, and Frontier was notified. No tickets or injuries were reported.

 

 

Fire Call

Time: 9:22 p.m.

Location: 300 Blk. of N. 8th Ave.

Details: HFD was dispatched to a residence for a report of smoke in the residence. Upon arrival the HFD cleared the scene. No injuries were reported.
