Arrested: Wade Bennett (M) (33) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were alerted by Clay County Indiana Sheriff’s Department of a resident involved in the theft of a motorcycle. After locating the motorcycle, Mr. Bennett was taken to HPD for processing and then later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

Details: A debit card was left at HPD. The owner may come to retrieve it.

 

No Valid Driver's License, Operating Motor Vehicle When Registration is Suspended for Mandatory

Location: W. Orange St./ S. 2nd Ave.

Cited: Eduardo Antunez (M) (49) of Boswell, IN

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. A computer search revealed that the vehicle’s plates were suspended for non-insurance. Mr. Antunez was released from the scene with citations for the above charges, and a Notice to Appear in Vermilion County Court. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
