Arrested: Derek Page (M) (43) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers received a report of a golf cart moving with no driver in the area.

Mr. Page fell off the vehicle and an investigation determined him to be under

the influence of alcohol. Subject was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed.

He was later released with traffic citations and traffic court date.

Burglary to Auto, Possession of Controlled Substance H25-3017 2025-3423

Time: 8:36 am

Location: 426 E Honeywell, Centennial Manor

Arrested: Janet Upperman (F) (71) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to recover property. Upon an investigation, Ms.

Upperman was found to be a suspect in a burglary to auto. After being detained,

a controlled substance was located on her person. She was arrested and taken to

HPD to be processed. She was later transported to the PSB to await arraignment.

 

 

Wanted on Warrant (Benton County, Indiana - 04C019802CM26) H25-3024 2025-3433

Time: 5:13 p.m.

Location: 430 W. Chestnut St.

Arrested: Genaro Zamarripa (M) (54) of Hoopeston

Details: While HPD officers were at the residence above for a report of theft, a computer check revealed Mr. Genaro to be wanted on an out-of-state warrant through Indiana. Mr. Genaro was arrested and taken to HPD for processing. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await extradition to Benton County, Indiana

 

Burning of Trash and Refuse (Restrictions - Illegal Burning of Mattress) H25-3027

Time: 8:36 p.m.

Location: 800 Blk. of E. McCracken Ave.

Cited: Augustus Irons (M) (18) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD responded to the report of an illegal burn. Mr. Irons was cited and given and NTA for Hoopeston City Court.
