Cited: Paul Odom Jr. (M) (29) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Mr. Odom received citations for the above charges and was released from the scene with NTA’s for Vermilion County Court. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

Violation of Order Protection; Aggravated Battery of a Child Under 13 H25-3839 2025-4399

Location: 1100 blk Savannah Court

Arrested: Akeem Blackwell (M) (35) of Danville

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location for the report of a domestic dispute. Mr. Blackwell had left the scene before officers arrived. After an investigation, and talking with subject, he was arrested for the above charges and transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Domestic Battery H25-3855 2025-4403

Time: 2:29 p.m.

Location: 600 Blk. of S. 7th St.

Arrested: 1. Kyle Strand (M) (25) of Hoopeston

2. Hayley Garza (F) (24) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance. Upon investigation both parties were arrested for Domestic Battery. Mr. Strand and Ms. Garza were transported to HPD for processing then were transported to the PSB in Vermilion County to await arraignment
