Details: HPD Officers responded to a call in the above area. Ms. Simonton was arrested on the above charge, processed at HPD, then later transported to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.

 

Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident H25-5474

Unit #1: 2011 Ford sedan driven by Zachary Davis (18) (M) of Hoopeston

Unit #2: 2014 GMC Acadia driven by Ashley Miller (40) (F) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit #2 was traveling eastbound on W Orange turning onto S 3rd Av when she was

struck in the rear by Unit #1 who was also traveling eastbound on Orange. No injuries were reported, both parties were insured and Unit # 1 was given a citation and a county traffic court date.

Wanted on Warrant (Vermilion County) FTA Pretrial H25-5524

Location: 1 McFerren Way

Arrested: Darrell Turner (M) (35) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were out with Mr. Turner who was wanted on a Vermilion County Warrant. He was taken into custody and processed at HPD then transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
