Details: HFD was dispatched to the report of an odor of natural gas inside the store. FD

cleared without incident.

 

Aggravated Battery(Public Way) H25-5855

Location: S. 5th Ave. and W. Elm St

Arrested: Lori Chandler (F)(25)

Details: HPD officers responded to a call after receiving a complaint. Following an investigation, officers located Ms. Chandler and arrested her for the above charge. She was taken to HPD for processing, then later transferred to the PSB in Vermilion County to await arraignment.

Cited: Kaden Carswell (M) (24) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers conducted a traffic stop at the above location. A computer check revealed Mr. Carswell had no valid driver’s license. He was cited and released from the scene with an NTA for Vermilion County Court.

 

Wanted on Warrant (Vermilion Co. No Bond) H25-5862 2025-6919

Location: 600 Block of E McNeil Ave

Arrested: Ricky Waddell (M) (30) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers conducted a traffic stop at the above location. A computer check revealed the driver to have an active Vermilion Co. warrant. Mr. Waddell was arrested and later transported by Vermilion Co. Sheriff’s office to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
