Arrest Time/Location: 1:37am @ 101 W Main St. (Tedd’s Beverage)

Offense Date/Location: 12/3/2025 in the 600 Blk S. 1st Ave.

Arrested: Victor Hutton (M) (57) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers made contact with Mr. Hutton and placed him under arrest for the above offense. He was processed at Hoopeston Police Station and released on an NTA in Vermilion County Court.

 

 

Traffic Accident H25-7496

Time: 7:27 a.m.

Location: S. Second Ave./W. Washington St.

Unit 1: 2013 Ford Sedan driven by Brionna Hardwick of Rantoul

Unit 2: 2015 Kia Utility driven by Martha Zamarripa of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was traveling WB on Washington St and entered the intersection. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 near the rear of the vehicle. There were no tickets or injuries reported. Both units were insured.

 

Disobeying Traffic Control Device, No Valid Driver’s License, Operating Uninsured Vehicle

Location: 200 Blk of S. 2nd Ave

Cited: 15-year-old juvenile of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop in the above area, where they cited a 15-year-old juvenile for the above traffic violations. The juvenile was released to his guardian, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
