Criminal Trespass to Real Property H25-7658

Location: 200 Blk of W. Maple St

Arrested: Brandon Arms (M) (39) of Ambia, IN

Details: HPD Officers were dispatched to the above location after receiving a complaint from a Hoopeston female. Officers made contact with Mr. Arms, placed him under arrest for the above offense, and transferred him the Hoopeston Police Department where he was processed and later released with a NTA in Vermilion County Court.

 

 

Threatening a Public Official; Battery; Assault H25-7661 2025-9273

Time: 10:57 a.m.

Location: 700 Blk. of N. 7th St.

Arrested: Brandon Arms (M) (39) of Ambia, IN

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Arms. He was placed under arrest and was transported to HPD for processing. While at HPD Mr. Arms was charged with Threatening a Public Official. Mr. Arms was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Traffic Accident H25-7606

Location: 100 Block of E. Main St.

Unit #1: 2004 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Carolyn Cochran (F)(19) of Boswell

Unit #2: 2019 Chevrolet Trax driven by Amy Stephen (F)(51) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit #1, traveling E bound on E Main St., made an illegal u-turn into a parking space at the above location and was struck by Unit #2 as they were backing out. No tickets or injuries were reported and both units were insured.
