Warrant Arrest Vermilion County, Resisting/Obstructing Peace Officer, Concealing or Aiding

Arrested: Mark Carrillo (M) (65) of Hoopeston

Brandon Young (M) (48) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers went to the above location to locate Mr. Carrillo on an outstanding

Vermilion County warrant. After several attempts to get someone to open the door,

officers saw Mr. Carrillo in an upstairs window. HPD officers made entry into the

residence and arrested Mr. Carrillo on his warrant and resisting/obstructing a peace

officer. Mr. Young was arrested for concealing or aiding a fugitive. Both subjects

were taken to HPD to be processed and later transported to the PSB in Danville to

await arraignment.

Unit #2: 2016 GMC Pickup driven by Gregory Bane (M) (69) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Market St and failed to yield the right of way to

Unit 2 who was traveling westbound on Main. Unit 1 struck Unit 2. No injuries were

reported, no tickets were issued and both units were insured.

Unit #2: 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Thomas Donaldson (M) (80) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Market St and failed to yield the right of way to

Unit 2 who was traveling westbound on Main. Unit 1 struck Unit 2. No injuries were

reported, no tickets were issued and both units were insured.

Details: HPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with the above subject identified as the driver. The subject was cited for driving while license suspended and given a notice to appear in Vermilion County traffic court and released from the scene.
