Traffic Accident: H26-0771 Time: Location: Unit 1: Unit 2: Details: 8:03 a.m. E Penn St/ Bank St. 2013 Dodge Durango driven by Curtis Warner (M) (40) of Hoopeston 2014 GMC Acadia driven by Ashley Allen (F) (38) of Hoopeston Both units 1 and 2 were stopped on East Penn St. due to a train. Unit 1 driver advises foot slipped off of the brake causing him to hit the rear end of unit 2. Passenger in Unit 2 went to the hospital for minor injuries. No tickets were issued. Both units were insured.

 

Operating Vehicle When Registration Suspended for Noninsurance H26-0772 Time: Location: Cited: Details: 10:42 a.m. S. 1st Ave / W. Chestnut St. Timothy Coon (M) (47) of Hoopeston HPD officers stopped the vehicle Mr. Coon was driving for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed his registration was suspended. Mr. Coon was given a traffic citation and a traffic court date.

After an investigation the juvenile was taken into custody and transported to JDC in Danville. Mr. Pierce turned himself into HPD. He was processed and later transported to the PSB in Danville to await

arraignment.
