Theft of Utility Services H26-0940

Date/Time: 2/20/2026 @ 1:15 p.m.

Location: 600 Blk of McCracken Ave.

Arrested: Kevin Lambert (M) (39) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers responded to the area at the request of the Hoopeston Water Department. After an investigation HPD located Mr. Lambert. Mr. Lambert was arrested and brought to HPD for processing then was later released with an NTA for Vermilion County Court.

 

Failure to Display Front License Plate, Loud Exhaust H26-0942

Date/Time: 2/20/2026 @ 3:40 p.m.

Location: 400 Blk of Dixie Hwy.

Arrested: Thad Finnell (M) (33) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Mr. Finnell was issued NTA’s for Vermilion County Court then he was released from the scene.

 

Domestic Battery H26-0963 2026-1188

Time: 6:45pm

Location: 300 blk N Market

Arrested: Beandre Rounds (M) (41) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers responded to a call at the above location. Following an investigation, Mr. Rounds was arrested for the above charge, processed at the Hoopeston Police Department, then later transported to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
