Wanted on a Douglas County Warrant H26-1262 2026-1550

Time: 4:23 p.m.

Location: 600 Blk of E. McNeil Ave.

Arrested: Ricky Waddell (M) (31) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers went to the above location. A computer check confirmed Mr. Waddell had an active warrant for Douglas County, and he was placed under arrest. He was taken to HPD to be processed, then later transported to the PSB in Danville to await extradition.

 

 

 

Burning of Trash and Refuse (city ordinance 8.08.010) H26-1271

Time: 10:36 p.m.

Location: 800 blk of W. Main St

Cited: Kadi Baker (F) (25) of Hoopeston

Details: While on patrol in the above area, HPD officers observed an illegal burn in which they requested the assistance of HFD to extinguish. The party responsible, Ms. Baker, received a citation for the above ordinance violation and was released from the scene. All Hoopeston units then cleared the scene.
