Violation of Pretrial Release, Threatening A Public Official

Location: 800 Blk of E. Honeywell Ave

Arrested: Akeem Blackwell (M) (35) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location in response to a complaint received from a Hoopeston female. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Mr. Blackwell and placed him under arrest after receiving confirmation he was in violation of his pretrial release. He was processed at HPD on the above charges, then later transported to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
