Arrested: Zachary Krygowski (M) (18) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. Mr. Krygowski was found to be driving on the above violations. Mr. Krygowski was placed under arrest, transported to HPD and was processed. He was issued NTA’s for Vermilion County Court then released from HPD custody.

Arrested: Celeste Binder (F) (33) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for an incident between two subjects. After investigation, Ms. Binder was placed under arrest and transported to HPD to be processed. She was then released with an NTA for Vermilion County Court.

Time: 2:43 p.m.

Location: 300 Blk of W Maple St

Arrested: Pantoja Zavelta (M) (29) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for an incident between two subjects. After investigation, Mr. Zavelta was placed under arrest and transported to HPD to be processed. He was then transported down to the PSB to await arraignment.

Location: 500 Blk of E Main St

Details: HFD was dispatched to the above location for the report of a gas leak. The leak was found and gas was shut off for Ameren to repair the leak.

Details: HFD responded to the above location for a smoke alarm. No fire was located and HFD cleared the scene.

 

Criminal Trespass to Property H26-2736

Date/Time: 5/30/2026 @ 4:44 p.m.

Location: 600 Blk of E Chestnut St

Arrested: Monica Granados (F) (50) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Ms. Granados. She was then detained and transported to HPD for further investigation. She was later arrested, processed, and then released from HPD custody with an NTA for Vermilion County Court.
