Theft Over $500 H26-3161 2026-4342

Arrested: Austin Johnston (M) (31) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for the report of a theft. After an investigation, Mr. Johnston was located, arrested and brought to HPD for processing. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Illegal Burning H26-3176

Location: 600 Blk of W Elm St

Cited: Devon Nosler (M) (27) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers observed an illegal burn at the above location. Mr. Nosler received a citation for Vermilion County Court and was released from the scene
