Charges: Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, Illegal Transportation of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis over 30 grams. Mr. Miles was Processed at HPD then released with NTA’s in Vermilion Co. Court.

Arested#2: Darryl Stevens (M) (24) of Hoopeston

Charges: Wanted on A Champaign Co. Warrant (#W26F0323). Mr. Stevens was processed at HPD and released with a new Champaign Co. court date.

Cited#1: Daytan Davis (M) (30) of Rantoul

Offense: Possession of Cannabis in Motor Vehicle. Mr. Davis was released from the scene with a citation.

Cited#2: Kadi Baker (F) (25) of Hoopeston

Offense: Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Ms. Baker was released from the scene with a citation.

Unit #1: 2013 Ford Explorer driven by a 16-year-old juvenile of Watseka, IL

Unit #2: 2007 GMC Sierra driven by Thad Finnell of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 2 was in above intersection when it was struck by Unit 1. No injuries were reported and both units were insured.

Location: 933 S. 6th Ave.

Unit #1: Golf Cart driven by unknown

Unit #2: Motorized Wheelchair operated by Keyanna Dowling-Garrott of Hoopeston

Details: Unit #1 and Unit #2 were southbound on S. 6th Ave. Unit #2 passed Unit #1 to turn into the soccer fields when Unit #1 struck Ms. Dowling-Garrott in the leg as it was making the turn. Medical attention was declined and an investigation is pending.

Arrested: Karla Cassady (F) (43) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers responded to a domestic call in the above area. Ms. Cassady was arrested for the above charge, processed at HPD, then later transported to the Danville Public Safety Building to await arraignment.

Cited: Rodney Cox (M) (19) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers conducted a traffic stop in the above location where they issued Mr. Cox an NTA in Vermilion Co. traffic court for the above traffic violation. Mr. Cox was released from the scene and his vehicle was towed.
