Complainant: 63-year-old Hoopeston male

Arrested: Kathy Stancle (F) (45) of Hoopeston

Jeff Chandler (M) (49) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was dispatched to the above location for the report of stolen shoes and school

supplies. After an investigation, Mr. Chandler and Ms. Stancle were arrested, taken

to HPD to be processed and later transported to the PSB in Danville to await

arraignment.

Details: HFD was dispatched to Tractor Supply for a possible natural gas leak. Nothing was found.

HFD was dispatched to McFerren Park for a chemical spill then later cleared the scene.

 

Criminal Damage (Over) H26-3740 2026-5146

Date/Time: 7/22/2026 @ 11:32 a.m.

Location: 1000 Blk of W. Thompson Ave.

Arrested: Landyn Wallace (M) (20) of Milford

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for the report of criminal damage. After an investigation, Mr. Wallace was located, arrested and brought to HPD for processing. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
