Traffic Accident H26-3943

Unit 1: 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Felipe Resendez of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2024 Toyota Rav 4 owned by Esmeralda Ramirez of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was backing out of the driveway when it struck Unit 2 while it was parked on the roadway. No tickets were issued. Both units were insured and no injuries were reported.

 

Disobeying Traffic Control Device, No Valid Driver’s License H26-3988

Time: 3:39 p.m.

Location: N. 6th Ave./ W. Thompson Ave.

Cited: Darivs Lane (M)(28) of Watseka

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. Mr. Lane was found to be driving on the above violations. He was given an NTA for Vermilion County Court and was released from the scene.

 

Violation of Pretrial Release. (14418: Screeching/Squealing Tires) (14419: Reckless Driving)

Time: 6:55 p.m.

Location: 700 Blk of E. McCracken Ave.

Arrested: Landyn Wallace (M)(20) of Milford

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location. Upon arrival Mr. Wallace was arrested and taken to HPD where he was processed then later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
