It’s been a year of wild prices in agriculture. As farmers look toward harvest, Vermilion County Farm Bureau is holding a program to provide them with timely information on commodity and input prices along with elevator facility plans for this fall.
The Market Outlook Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 19. Biscuits and Gravy will be served at 9:00 am with the program beginning at 9:30 am in the Farm Bureau Auditorium, 1905 U.S. Route 150 west of Danville.
With the latest USDA crop report issued the previous Wednesday, speakers Greg Johnson with TGM, Brian Stark from The Andersons, and Premier Cooperative’s Doug Cropp will be touching on current market outlooks and updates.
Additionally, Vermilion County Farm Bureau will be presenting State Representative Brandun Schweizer with the Friend of Agriculture Award. Illinois Farm Bureau recognizes Representative Schweizer’s advocacy and commitment to the agriculture industry and looks forward to his continued involvement and support of agriculture.
The program is open to all Farm Bureau members.
