Cited: Tina Lile (F) (62) of Danville

Details: While backing up, Unit 1 struck Unit 2 while parked. Unit 1 was issued an NTA for Vermilion County Court and was released from the scene. No injuries were reported. Unit 2 was insured.

Arrested: Richard Mirto (M) (57) of Rankin

Details: Mr. Mirto’s information was ran for a parking violation at the above location. It was confirmed the subject was in violation of the above offense. Mr. Mirto was arrested, processed at the Hoopeston Police Department, then later released on an NTA in Vermilion Co. Court.

 

Offense: (14423: Failure to Use Turn Signal) (14424: Operating Vehicle While Registration Suspended) (14425: Operating Uninsured Vehicle).

Location: S. 4th St. / E. Chestnut St.

Cited: Trae Powers (M) (22) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers conducted a traffic stop. Mr. Powers was found to be driving on the above violations. He was given NTA’s for Vermilion County Court and was released from the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
